Shabbona Lake State Park

Saturday afternoon fishing.

Only one of our adults unintentionally took a swim.

Around 5 PM the light thin clouds seemed to turn into rain clouds.  A number of the scouts did not care and decided to continue fishing.  Their objective was to catch what was needed for a Fishing Merit Badge.

As the rains began to come down, about six or seven large squadrons of geese from all corners of the earth converged to one particular area of the lake.  About a half hour later, they all took off and headed back in their various directions.  Perhaps the King Goose called a 30-minute inter-flock meeting of some sort.
