Saturday Morning:

Our Plan A:

Campfire

Breakfast

Tree Planting

During the night, it got very cold.  Early riser Mr. Maude photographed the dripping faucet.  The drops created an interesting ice formation.  Also shown is what formed on top of the fire buckets.

We asked Three Fires Council for an application for the Scout Polar Bear patch for those who participated on this trip.

Breakfast was complete.  The flags posted.  It was finally time to get on with our mission.

We headed up to an open field in the Northwest corner of camp.

We worked in teams of two, trading off occasionally.  One would dig - the other would plant the tree.

Annie was there to supervise our troop during our entire visit.  She continually was giving us her nonstop approval and personally selected what she clearly felt would eventually be the perfect tree.

Ranger Josh headed back to check on us.

First task of the day was now done!
