In the Caves

After over a hundred photographs were taken during the day, the digital memory card failed. We jumped online and found a program called CardRecovery. It worked perfectly!  None of the photos on this page would be here if that software had not worked.

The troop had pancakes and sausages for breakfast.

The scouts put their gear on and headed into the caves.  The morning was spent in the Northern caves.

The troop then headed back to camp for a bowl of soup and a couple of jumbo hot dogs.

They decided to tackle the toughest cave of the day.  Wye had several "birth canal" type openings that not everyone was fit enough to make it through.

A bat hung on the ceiling just before the "birth canals."

Late that afternoon they returned to camp caked with mud.

For dinner the troop consumed spaghetti & meatballs.

Two of our scouts produced a great Crackerbarrel event during the evening.  We were told that there might be a meteor shower during the night, but ended up not seeing any.  The stars were amazing.
