The troop gathered at Sandburg on a perfect sunny Saturday morning at 8:30.  After loading the gear into the trailer, the official departure photo was taken, then they boarded up and headed off. for one of the most exciting weeks in the life of a scout.

After leaving Sandburg, they stopped at a Wisconsin rest area for a brown bag lunch.
