When additional photos become available to the webmaster, they will be posted here.

There is nothing quite like the excitement of starting a weeklong trip to CFL.

Five members of the Troop are not in the traditional departure photo because they are already at CFL or will be arriving during the following 24 hours.

We left Sandburg at 9:15 AM.  We stopped for a brown bag lunch at a rest area in Wisconsin.  We were at CFL by 1:15 PM

It does not take a team of professional scouts very long to to set up camp.  The kitchen fly, the green room, ax yard, tents and KP station are key elements of the campsite that need to be set up.  It took about two hours to set up camp.  But our home away from home is very nice.  We have lots of shade, some patches of sun and lots of space to spread out in.

Mr. Pearson is quite pleased to see the KP station set up perfectly.

Sunset means Campfire Time for Troop 374.

We also have a great fire pit which had a fire burning with in a few hours of our arrival.

After a dinner of hamburgers cooked over the fire, we took a hike around camp and then enjoyed the campfire and each other's company until it was time to hit the beds.
