PD Eagle Project

Whenever there is a Troop 374 campout that focuses on hiking, it is a guarantee that PD will do whatever it takes to be there, and in many cases, take the lead.  In August 2004 PD chose to focus his High Adventure trip on a weeklong hiking expedition in Western Virginia.  Hiking is indeed one of PDs passions, and it shows.

It is absolutely no surprise that PD's passion has spilled over to his Eagle Project.  One hiking path that extends from Maywood all the way out to Aurora and Elgin needed some work.  PD wanted to restore it so that would look pristine again.  He embarked on a project that entails repairs, refurbishment and enhancement of many of the signs located along the Illinois Prairie Path.  PD is hand picked a team to work on this project, which began on Saturday, August 19, 2006 and spanned over several weeks.
