Collecting: The KISS rule—Keep It Simple and Small!

I planned out approximately three weeks of work on very big poster board-calendar. Way back in the beginning, I decided keep things simple and small. I had lots of volunteers that helped with small narrow time slots of work. When the top 3 to 4 volunteer times were removed, the average person donated about 3 to 4 hours of their time. Getting volunteers for these small slots was not hard. Just make sure you “over ask” because you’ll get some no-shows even with the reminder calls.  It’s always better to have too many people than too few.
