In September, 2006, John headed to college.

On Monday, January 22, 2006, JR passed his Eagle Board of Review, making him an Eagle Scout.

J.R. is a regular on the Honor Roll at his high school.

April 2000 - Weekend campout with Troop 374 to Maquoketa Caves and Field of Dreams

May 2000 - Weekend Rafting Campout with Troop 374 at Peshtigo River

Summer, 2000 - Weeklong summercamp with Troop 374

August 2000 - Participated in the annual Troop 374 Brunton's World Campout

2000 - Weekend Troop 374 Cabin Campout at Lowden

12/04/2000 - Promoted to 1st Class

January 2001 - M.L.King weekend trip to Silversides and Warren Dunes with Troop 374

July 2001 - Spent a week at CFL with Troop 374

12/03/2001 - Promoted to Star Scout

Aug 2002 - The advanced scouts went on a weeklong high adventure canoe trip to the Boundary Waters.

05/12/2003 - Promoted to Life Scout

July 2003 - Served at Counselor in Training at Camp Freeland Leslie

May 20-22, 2005 - Spent two nights with the troop at Devil's Lake State Park in Wisconsin

9/22/2005-9/24/2005 - Served with Kiwanis in joint fundraising effort selling Peanuts.
