HS Eagle Ceremony
2 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2007
St. Andrew United Church of Christ on Gary Avenue in Carol Stream, IL

Dress Rehearsal began at 1 PM
The ushers opened the doors to the Sanctuary and began distributing bulletins at about 1:45.
Bagpipes began playing Amazing Grace at 2 PM
Mark Larimer played his guitar as he sang a song.
The SPL led the congregation in the Pledge of Allegiance,
then the scouts in the Scout Oath.
Then Pastor Todd opened in prayer.
The scouts light the red, white and blue candles.
Troop 374 Eagle Coordinator Mr. T and Troop 374 Scoutmaster (2002-2006) Mr. D. discussed the history of the Eagle Scout.
Master of Ceremonies and Troop 374 Scoutmaster (1999-2002) Rick Loechl announces that the time has come.
The family of the Eagle Scout is brought forward.
Troop 374 Scoutmaster Tim Byam presents the medal to Harold.
Harold's father is given the honor of pinning the medal to
Harold's left pocket.
Harold's mother, Harriet places the Eagle Neckerchief over Harold's shoulder.
Harold's grandfather, a former Scout District Commissioner, places the Eagle Neckerchief slide in place.
Harold then places Eagle pins on his mother, father and grandfather.
All Eagle Scouts present are asked to join Harold.
Troop 374 Eagle Scout Alex Tsaparis gives Harold the Eagle Charge.
Troop 374 Eagle Scout Donny Cook leads Harold with the Eagle Pledge.
Scoutmaster Byam reads aloud the letters of congratulations from dignitaries all over the world.
Harold publicly thanks those who helped him along the path.
The Scout Honor Guard escorted Harold into the Ceremony. Because he is now joining the Navy, a Navy Guard escorts him from the ceremony.
The bagpipes play during the recessional.
