Today is the major construction day. The weather could not have been better. Everything had been considered down to the smallest detail. Moms, Dads, Scouts and other volunteers got up and were working by 8 AM on this Saturday morning.
Every one of us who worked on this project today greatly appreciated the hospitality of Mrs. S. There was always plenty to food and drink to keep us well nourished. At lunch time the team was served pizza, sandwiches, fruit trays, a variety of cookies, and a vegetable tray.
The presence of one of the key Troop 374 committee members did not go unnoticed.
Wallie, thanks for taking a day off of work to help out with this huge project!
By the end of today, almost everything was done. Counters and stairs need to be installed.
This is indeed one of the largest Eagle Projects that this Assistant Scoutmaster has ever seen.
