Canoe Trip on the Fox River

From time to time the Troop takes a day trip rather than a weekend campout.  We headed over to the Fox River one Saturday morning this June.  Due to heavy rain earlier in the week, the water was high and the river was swift.  We had picked the perfect cool summer day.

                   

                   

           

               

We did need to take a very short portage at one point during the trip.
