3 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2006.
It was an absolutely beautiful day. The sun was bright. It was a bit chilly, but it was a ceremony that went perfectly.

Mr. Byam calls the meeting to order and introduces representatives from our troop sponsoring organization, active parents and the many of the scoutmasters who led the troop for the last three decades. The Eagle Honor Guard escorted Mr. & Mrs. Brunton to their seats, and then escorted Andrew to his seat. Mr. D. and Mr. Loechl lead the next part of the program.
Eagle Scout and Troop 374 Treasurer Roger Johnson delivers the Eagle Charge. Andrew takes the Eagle Oath.
Andrew's mother pins the Eagle Medal on Andrews pocket. Mr. Byam presents the troop Eagle plaque, reads aloud the names of 60 dignitaries who wrote Andrew congratulatory letters and presents Andrew with the Eagle notebook. Andrew thanks his parents, the leaders and the adult volunteers who made his journey possible.
Troop 374 Eagle Scott Beisner dismisses the Eagle Ceremony with the Eagle Benediction. Meanwhile, several parents finish preparing the reception. A new Troop 374 group photo is taken.
During the course of the reception, a 20-minute video presentation was shown in the main hall. It showed Andrew's trail from the very beginning as a cub scout all the way to his Eagle. That trail spanned over a decade.
Andrew, it has been a long hard journey. You are now an Eagle.
