Sunday Morning
For breakfast, our Troop 374 Donut Team went to work and created nearly 200 donuts in a very short time.

Our ASPL did a wonderful job of leading the troop during the weekend.
Our parting photo at 8 AM Sunday morning.
The last few caving trips that our troop took were simple. Wearing grubby clothes and bike helmets, we crawled into the caves with flashlight in hand. This was not one of those trips.
Cave of the Mounds has a GeoTrek program that teaches much about rocks & caves.
One of the staff members at Cave of the Mounds is a Geologist named Ellen. She led Troop 374 through the whole GeoTrek Program. Her program was very intense, interesting and energetic. She connected extremely well with our scouts and kept them all very focused and involved.
For starters she led us up to a rustic classroom setting in a large barn. There she gave us an introductory Powerpoint presentation on the formation of caves.
She then took us on a short hike to discuss the physics of sink holes.
We had a short break before heading into the caves.
