Alex Eagle Project

As part of his Eagle Project, Alex had a mission to train the community (and our troop), in the art of disposing U.S. flags in the proper manner.  In the process, he presided over two flag disposal ceremonies.  Each occurred as part of the Troop 374 campouts in November 2003 and November 2004.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Mr. T. read a letter written by the judge who sentenced the post-9/11 would be shoe bomber.  You can read that message: Judge-Words

Alex prepared a notebook outlining every element of the flag ceremony.  He donated it to Troop 374.  We hope to post the notebook on this troop web site soon so that troops across all the USA will be able to utilize it.  We also plan to make this ceremony a part of our annual November Troop 374 campout.
