He put on a magnificent performance as he played a star role in the play "You Can't Take it With You" at his high school.

Prior to joining Troop 374 in 2002, JM earned an Arrow of Light Award.

April 19 - April 21, 2002 - Camped with Troop 374 at the Mississippi Palisades, during which, he repelled off of a 180 foot cliff.

10/02/2002 - Promoted to Tenderfoot

May 12, 2003 - Advanced to 2nd Class

June 6 - June 8, 2003 - Troop 374 Campout.  During the day Saturday, rafted down the Vermillion River.  During the evening, the troop watched auto races at the local racetrack.

July 2003 - Spent 7 nights with Troop 374 at Camp Freeland Leslie

November 14, 2003 - November 16, 2003 - Spent two nights with the Troop at Cobb

Special service project approved by Scoutmaster:

December 14, 15 - Caroling packets for Pack 374 and Retirement Home Caroling - 3 Service Hours

January 18, 2004 - Spent one night aboard the Cobia with the Troop

March 7, 2004 -  Scouting for Food - 2 Service Hours

April 23 - 24, 2004 Spent one night camping at Springfield, IL

July 31, to August 9, 2004 - Spent 9 nights with Troop 374 at New River High Adventure in Virginia

10/30/2004 - Served for 4 Hours on BB's Ecological Eagle Project at College of DuPage

Spent two nights with the Troop at Mel's Farm from 11/5/2004-11/7/2004

Spent the night on the Silversides Sub with the troop on 01/16/2005

Was promoted to First Class Scout on 1/24/2005

March 12, 2005 - Two hours: Distributed bags/brochures (Scouting for Food Community Service Drive)

May 7, 2005 - Served with Troop 374 for One Hour at the Kiwanis Breakfast. 

May 9, 2005 - Promoted to Star Scout at the Court of Honor  

May 20-22, 2005 - Spent two nights with the troop at Devil's Lake State Park in Wisconsin

July 9 - July 16, 2005 - Attended CFL for seven nights with Troop 374

August 2005 - Served 10 hours on AB's Eagle Project, building turtle habitats at Cosley Children's Zoo

9/22/2005-9/24/2005 - Served with Kiwanis in joint fundraising effort.

10/2005-Five hours of community service - Put up & removed posters, collected, sorted & repacked food for the Max Tsaparis Eagle Project.

January 15-16, 2006 - Camped out on the USS Silversides Submarine with his fellow Troop 374 scouts.

March 17-19, 2006 - Camped in cabins at Lowden Council camp near Oregon, IL with the Troop 374.

March 2006 - Promoted to Life Scout

April 3, 2006 - Began serving as Senior Patrol Leader

4/22/06-4/24/06 - Camped in tents for two nights and explored Maquoketa Caves plus spent Sunday at the Field of Dreams.

April 29, 2006 - Worked for 5 1/2 hours on NM's Eagle Project.  On this particular day, they removed a significant quantity of railroad timbers from the Prairie Path

May 6, 2006 - Helped the Kiwanis Club with their pancake breakfast fundraiser (an hour of public service.)

May 20, 2006 - Served four hours building a fence for a not-for-profit organization as part of SP's Eagle Project.

At the June 5, 2006, JM was promoted to Life Scout

July 29 - Aug 6, 2006 - Camped 8 nights with the troop.  Canoed the Boundary Waters.

Sept 2006 - Helped the Kiwanis Club with their Peanut Days fundraiser (2 hours of public service)

October 23, 2006 - Concluded his service as Senior Patrol Leader (started 4/3/06)

January 14-15, 2007 - Troop 374 Overnight encampment on the USS Silversides Sub in Muskegon MI

April 20-22, 2007 - Campout at Mel's and participated in the Geotrek Program at Cave of The Mounds

Saturday, May 5, 2006 - Served 1 1/4 hours at the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast

May 17, 2007  Eagle Project approved by the Committee

May 19-20, 2007 - During this one night Troop374 campout, White Water Rafted down the Pestigo River in N. Wisconsin.

July 28,2007 Lead a group of troop volunteers in the completion of his Eagle Project

8/3/07 - 8/5/07 Indiana Dunes Campout

January 19-20, 2008 - Camping on the USS Silversides in Muskegon, MI
