Sunday

First thing Sunday a full pot of chocolate was started.  Next was the scoutmaster's coffee.  Then came donuts.  The troop consumed well over 100 donuts in a very short time.  Then it was time to pose for our final photo while at Lowden.

We headed to Rochelle for lunch at a local restaurant.

After a very delicious and filling lunch we headed over to a gazebo in Rochelle that is situated between several rail lines.  We were told that a train passes through Rochelle every few minutes.  During our brief visit we saw three trains.  We met an individual who traveled from Milwaukee to watch the trains.  Not long ago, a businessman from California flew to O'Hare, rented a car, spent all day at the gazebo in Rochelle, then returned to California.  Call it relaxing, exciting or fascinating, there is something magical about trains.
